The practice is currently working

The nurse practitioner who will be able to deal with your
condition and organise your review, and if necessary the doctor’s
follow up cases.
Doctor or Nurse Practitioner ?
The practice has improved its service to our patients by
providing a greater choice of consultations. If you feel that
your condition does not warrant an appointment with the doctor
you can call at the surgery or contact the nurse practitioner
by telephone and your condition will be assessed. Following
your telephone call a decision will be made for you to either
see the nurse practitioner or the doctor at a time allotted
by the nurse practitioner during the day. This will provide
an appropriate appointment for you and hopefully reduce any
potential wait in the surgery.
Nurse Practitioner
A nurse practitioner is a specially trained practice nurse
or health visitor who sees patients in the same way as a doctor.
The nurse practitioner can deal with the majority of your
basic health conditions and also runs her own clinics at both
our surgeries at Penygroes and Crosshands
